ACE is looking for two new non-executive directors

We are seeking two people from either Colchester or Clacton to join our Board as Non-Executive Directors (NEDs).  Our NEDs play an important role in both supporting us to achieve our goals, but also keeping us on our toes by providing an “external” challenge to ACE’s clinicians and managers. 

David Harrison, Chairman of ACE (pictured), said:

“Our NEDs help shape the future of ACE and the way in which wider health and well-being services are developed across north east Essex.  We are seeking two people who are closely connected with the communities we serve.

One of these new NEDs will lead ACE’s charitable trust, ACT, and therefore, we’re keen to find local candidates that have experience of running charities or other voluntary agencies.  The other NED needs to have a senior clinical background, as they will be instrumental in overseeing ACE’s clinical quality, the safety of our patients and ensuring our users are properly involved in the design and delivery of our health and well-being services.”

Both NED roles involve a commitment of approximately two days a month, and are paid posts, with an annual remuneration of £7,500 each.
