Welcome to the Life After Stroke Service

The service is currently provided by voluntary organisations; The Stroke Association in Colchester and Tendring Stroke Support Services (TSSS) in Clacton.

The Voluntary organisations work closely with us to support stroke survivors and their family and carers with a range of interventions focused on physical health, functional skills, daily activities, mental and social wellbeing.

How to access the service

The Services are available to those people who have experienced Stroke and are registered with a GP within north east Essex.

Referrals may be received/accepted from the Hospital staff, GP’s and our Stroke Team. Patients are also able to self-refer by contacting their voluntary organisation.
