Katy Stevens, one of our Tissue Viability Nurse (TVN) for the lower limb service, presented at the second national virtual lunch meeting which was hosted by Journal for Community Nursing and Mole Digital.

Katy spoke to 200 Nurses about the high amount of new referrals the service has received, and how getting patients the right assessments during their first appointments has changed for the better with the new technology. The changes have resulted to positive outcomes and the team have maintained a cost-effective-evidence-based new service.

This service has been launched in Tendring and is currently recruiting for the Colchester locality aiming to roll out next year.
