Integrated Community Cardiology Service
The Integrated Community Cardiology Service provides access to cardiology care in the community for people over the age of 18.
It is provided in partnership with the cardiology team at Colchester Hospital.
Services include:
- ‘One Stop’ cardiac assessment and diagnosis clinic: diagnosis and treatment provided by a GP with special interest, cardiology consultant, specialist advanced nurse practitioner and cardiac technician input
- Heart failure service: a specialist nurse-led service for people with all types of heart failure
- Cardiac rehabilitation service: a specialist nurse-led service with support from exercise specialists, providing rehabilitation tailored for people after heart attack or surgery
- Cardiology clinic: treatment and management of a range of cardiac conditions
- Electrocardiogram monitoring (ECG clinic).
