Welcome to Orthotics Service
Our Orthotics Service will assess and provide adults and children with external supports/braces or splints which may help to achieve a particular goal. These are provided to improve functional ability such as:
- Walking
- To reduce pain
- To prevent a condition worsening.
Our orthotists work in close partnership with other professions such as podiatrists and physiotherapists. Opcare Ltd provide the service with Qualified Orthotic clinicians.
We provide:
- Assessments
- Advice on self-help options
- Advice and education on how to use your support and how to look after it
- Ready-made supports
- Special made to measure supports/braces if clinically appropriated.

How to access the service
Referrals are accepted from a registered health professional, including your GP or your consultant.
